the diversity of our university collections. The categories reflect each
collection’s current disciplinary connection. Short texts describe the
genesis of the collection, its holdings and finally, its location and

In the future, the OAH, together with numerous friends and patrons,
would like to make the collections accessible to a wider public, as they
are bearers of meaning in scientific practice, sources for exploring the
history of science, objects of artistic discourse and points of intersec-
tion within the framework of current research questions and didactic
practices. We would be delighted if you would accompany us in this
      endeavour.
