cfaed: Center for Advancing Electronics Dresden
The Center for Advancing Electronics Dresden (cfaed)
promotes innovation in electronics by conducting multi-
perspective and holistic research on materials, devices,
circuits and systems, systematically analyzing overarching
principles of heterogeneous, nonlinear and networked
entities, and thus exploring novel functional paradigms.
As a scientific and internationally visible electronics center,
we provide platforms for nanofabrication technology,
knowledge management, as well as nanoanalysis and
systems analytics for TU Dresden and DRESDEN-concept
members. We are a central hub of interdisciplinary and
cross-scale research.
We provide knowledge creators with an interdisciplinary
education by conveying systemic, multi-lateral thinking
and fundamentally new approaches by integrating
diverse perspectives.

order to transform material innovations into sustain-
able electronics applications and thus secure and CONTACT
develop Germany's innovation capacities in micro-
electronics and nanoelectronics. For example, with its cfaed – Center for Advancing
