Doing good together – the Friends and Sponsors
of TU Dresden
Renowned individuals, companies, alumni, and university staff support TU Dresden
as friends and sponsors. Through their membership in the association, they are
committed to advancing the development of the university.
This began in 1842 with the first endowments, led to the Selected funding activities of the Association of Friends

opportunities to interact with members, university staff
and students. In addition to participation in a wide-ranging
network, there is a chance to gain exclusive insights into
TU Dresden’s research and teaching activities.
Staying in touch
The association focuses on maintaining the connection
between alma mater and alumni after their studies.
Membership for graduates up to the age of 30 at a reduced
fee of EUR 25 per year facilitates this purpose. We invite all
alumni to get involved in the development of the
