Dr. Matthäus Mittasch
Be clear about what your strengths are!
Dr. Matthäus Mittasch studied nanobiophysics. Today, he
researches small molecule drugs – novel drugs based on
biomolecular condensates for the treatment of civilization
diseases. He works as a Principal Scientist at Dewpoint
Therapeutics GmbH.
From Erasmus student to TUD regional ambassador A “Child of the uni” with a love of research

Growing algae in pipes
Gunnar Mühlstädt originally wanted to study medicine, but
during his civil service in a hospital, he realized that he
would rather not become a doctor. That said, health and
healthy living are still close to the mechanical engineering
alumnus’ heart, which is why he and his team now produce
algae in aquatic greenhouses.
Definitely sustainable and always going above and
beyond
Daniela Bohn announced to her mentor that she wanted to
become a manager while still at school. During her
Bachelor’s degree in Business and Languages at Zittau/
Görlitz University of Applied Sciences, a professor
recommended that she complete a Master’s in International
Management at IHI Zittau. She graduated in 2021 and now
works at Deutsche Bahn. She is enthusiastic about the
careers open to women in the company.
