The 35 devices in this collection are designed primarily for measuring and recording tempe-
rature (thermographs, various psychrometers), humidity (various hygrometers, hygrographs),
wind speed (dynamic pressure, cup, hot wire and propeller anemometers, anemographs),
radiation (pyranometers, pyrheliometers, actinometers, sunshine recorders) and evaporation
(Piche evaporimeters, evaporographs). They are used, in part, as demonstration objects in
      teaching.

The collection includes approximately 20 hydrological instruments for measuring water velocity
and depth, including some Ott flow meters for flow measurement dating back to the late 19th
century, various thermographs, levelling devices and a collection of maps. The collection is open
to the public, and individual objects are still used for demonstrations in teaching.
